Bryde is a solo project by Sarah Howells, a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist from Swansea, Wales. Since beginning her music career in 2013, Bryde has released 2 EPs, ‘Like an Island’ and ‘All That Fear’, as well as her debut full-length album, ‘The Sea’ in 2018. She has played numerous music festivals and shows across the US and Europe, including an appearance at SXSW. Bryde’s music has been described as emotive Alternative Rock, with her music focusing on personal feelings and challenging topics such as rejection and the cost of living. Her songs have featured on BBC Radio 6 Music and earned her accolades such as Best Newcomer at the AIM Independent Music Awards in 2018.
