Anthony Castaldo is a songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist from Austin, Texas. His sound draws from jazz, rock, and folk, blending the Americana vocal style of Glen Campbell and Neil Young with a pulsating rhythmic energy. Castaldo has released four full-length albums and three EPs since 2003, including 2020's Striking A Match, a collection of predominantly original material. His main instruments of choice are the guitar, piano, and harmonica, although he is also proficient in drums, mandolin, and banjo. He is the founding member of the Texas-based band Ecclesia, which has opened for headliners such as The Black Lillies and Hayes Carll. Castaldo is currently working on promoting his fifth full-length album, Striking A Match, performing live-streamed shows, and writing new music.
