Berner is a rapper and entrepreneur from the San Francisco Bay Area. He initially gained fame through guest appearances on Cypress Hill's 2007 singles "Loco En El Coco" and "Trap House" as well as E-40's 2008 single "White Gurl". In June 2009, he released his debut studio album, Weekend at Bernie's, and has since released a total 10 studio albums. In addition to his music career, Berner is the founder of the Cookie Co. clothing line and marijuana strain business. He has collaborated with artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Soulja Boy, T.I., Rick Ross, Young Jeezy,akon, Styles P andYG, among many others. In late 2014, Berner announced that he had signed with Taylor Gang Records. He released Drought Season 3, the first installment under the new deal, in March of 2015.
