Bora Uzer is a Turkish music artist, who is best known for his unique blend of electronic and traditional folk music. His songs combine genres like traditional Turkish music, jazz, drum'n'bass, and electronic music. His career began when he was signed to the Fol Music record label in 2003. His first album, Efem was lauded by critics for infusing new life into traditional Turkish music. Since then, Uzer has released 4 additional albums, toured in countries such as Germany, Belgium, and France, and appeared in several festivals such as Musilac, and Festival Ea Ea in Poland. Uzer has also collaborated with several international music figures, in 2011, he worked with Benoît Pioulard, and in 2017 with the Molotov Jukebox. His most recent album, “Aphorism” was released in 2019.
