Cancer is an Italian post punk band from Florence, Italy formed in 1982, whose music is heavily influenced by punk and new wave. The members of the band are Antonio Aiazzi (guitar/vocals), Fabiano Celli (bass/vocals) and Lorenzo Truffelli (drums). The band released their debut album, "The Birth" in 1988, which was followed by five more studio albums. Cancer is considered as an important part of the Italian punk scene. After nearly two decades of touring and releasing new music, Cancer has become one of the most recognized underground Italian punk bands. They have also been praised for their strong and catchy melodies and powerful live performances.
