David Cook is a multi-platinum selling American singer who first gained fame after winning the seventh season of 'American Idol' in 2008. Since winning, he released four studio albums with his most successful being his debut album 'David Cook' which achieved multi-platinum status. His albums have spawned six top 20 singles, two of which reached the top 3, and have sold over one million copies in the US alone. In addition to his successful albums, he has two number one singles on the Billboard Christian Songs chart and has gone on national tours. Cook has also released an EP and two live albums, as well as collaborated with various artists on their music like Good Charlotte, Adam Lambert, and Taylor Hicks.
