Frontierer is a Scotland-based heavy electronic trio comprised of multi-instrumentalists Tom Stearn, Calum Johnston and Gordon MacPhail. Bringing together elements of metal, drone and harsh noise, their sound is both harsh and visceral, taking listeners on a chaotic, intense journey rooted in science fiction themes.

Their debut release came in 2014 with the 'Communal Terror Sciences' EP and since then they have unleashed a further flurry of records, including 'Orange Mathematics' in 2015, 'Infinity Splash' and 'Unloved' in 2016, and 'Grimen' in 2017. In addition to full-lengths, they have released several splits with like-minded artists like Enduser, Moon Relay and Outlaw Order.
