Giles Corey is an artist from Oakland, California, USA. A genre-bending mix of folk, reggae, and punk, his music is known for its lyrical insight, raw and honest rasp, and emotive melodies. His debut album, No Brothers, was released in 2011 and was praised for its thought-provoking poetry and sonic immediacy. His 2017 follow-up, Dark City, continued his exploration of power and its ability to break down people, recounting the stories of those on society’s margins. He has released several EPs and accompanied well-known acts such as TV on the Radio, Melissa Etheridge, and Jenny Lewis on tour.
