Grant-Lee Phillips is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Americana/folk scene. He started his solo career in the early 1990s when he was lead singer and guitarist of the alternative rock band, Grant Lee Buffalo. After the band split in 1999, Phillips went on to release six critically-acclaimed solo albums that showcased his unique blend of Americana, roots-rock, and folk sounds. He has recorded several duets and collaborations with members of the indie music scene, most notably Jakob Dylan from The Wallflowers on the track “Tangled up and Blue”. Phillips continues to write and perform regularly, with several EPs and live albums released in the 2010s.
