(Hed) P.E., short for "(hed) Planet Earth," is an American band formed in 1994 in Huntington Beach, California. Known for their eclectic fusion of punk, hip hop, metal, and reggae, the band was founded by lead vocalist Jared Gomes, who remains the only constant member. They gained recognition with their self-titled debut album in 1997 and further success with "Broke" in 2000, which featured the popular single "Bartender." Over the years, (Hed) P.E. has cultivated a dedicated fan base and is celebrated for their energetic live performances and socially conscious lyrics. Despite numerous lineup changes, the band continues to evolve, releasing new music and touring extensively.
