Heists is an indie, rock-based project center around Melbourne-based musician Michael Keough. After getting recognition for his work with folk-rock band Valley Forge, he quickly shifted gears and began focusing on his own project, Heists. Heists’ sound is driven by quirky yet catchy indie/rock melodies, drawing influence from an eclectic mix of bands like The Kinks, Teenage Fanclub, Fleetwood Mac, and more. Over the past decade Heists has released multiple EPs and LPs, such as 2019’s ‘Late Night Tales’. Heists continues to tour extensively all over Australia as well as parts of North America and Europe, building an ever-increasing global fanbase in the process.
