Joe Jackson is a British musician and songwriter who has attained substantial international success since the release of his 1979 debut album Look Sharp. He has released 19 studio albums, as well as numerous live and compilation albums. His music has developed from guitar-based ska, soul, punk, and new wave to mainstream pop-rock. He is known for his signature genre-defying mix of styles, which have incorporated influential elements of jazz, classical, and traditional pop music.

He hits include Love at First Light, Steppin’ Out, Is She Really Going Out With Him and Breaking Us in Two. He is a 2-time Grammy Award Nominee, and has received numerous British and European awards. He has collaborated with a wide range of musicians including Elaine Caswell, Dave Edmunds, Lou Reed, and Lenny Kravitz. In recent years he has toured with a full symphonic orchestra and he continues to perform regularly all over the world.
