Julien Dyne is a New Zealand-born music producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist who has released five albums and numerous collaborations since the early 2000's. His unique musicianship is a blend of electronica, hip hop, jazz and funk drawing influence from Ralph and Alice Coltrane, M.F. Doom and Aphex Twin. He is also the co-founder of the influential New Zealand record label, Loop and has released on labels such as BBE, Eglo, Wah Wah 45s, Love Da Records and Temporary Residence. Dyne is renowned for his mystical and spiritual soundscapes drawing on elements of jazz, soul, funk and classical. He has worked and collaborated with the likes of Lord Echo, Fat Freddy's Drop, Ladi6, Mark de Clive- Lowe, Nathan Haines and Boca 45 to name just a few.
