Kasablanca is an electronic music producer and DJ from Sweden, renowned for his intricate production techniques and emotive melancholic feel. Influenced by iconic electronic music from the late '80s and electroclash movements of the '90s, his soundscape borders on the worlds of classic Italo disco, synthpop, and futurist minimalism. His music has seen many releases on top labels such as Kompakt, Anjunadeep, and his very own labels, mau5trap and Kitjen. His album, The Drake Equation, released on mau5trap in late 2020, features many collaborative works with other artists that showcase his boundary-pushing production skills. Kasablanca continues to make waves in the global electronic scene and looks forward to more releases in 2021.
