Keith Richards is an English singer, songwriter, and guitarist of the iconic rock band The Rolling Stones. He is known for introducing and popularizing early blues guitar riffs and the distorted rock guitar sound. He co-wrote the memorable Stones songs "Satisfaction," "Jumpin' Jack Flash," and "Gimme Shelter," and is considered a musical innovator. His career has spanned more than 50 years and he has released 5 studio albums as a solo artist, as well as duets albums with fellow Stones legend, Mick Jagger. Richards has appeared in numerous films and television shows and is recognised as one of the most influential guitarists in rock and roll history. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.
