Mika Vainio is a composer and electronic music artist from Finland. He is a former member of the Pan-Sonic duo, who have collaborated and released albums with prominent figures such as Barry Adamson, Bruce Gilbert, and Main. The duo were widely admired and respected for their pioneering work in the fields of experimental and minimalist electronic music.

Vainio is currently releasing work under his own name, and has released solo albums as well as many EPs and singles.
