Mike Dawes is an English composer and guitar virtuoso. With influences ranging from classical to folk to blues, post-rock and heavy metal, his music blends multiple genre ingredients to create a distinct and innovative approach to fingerstyle arrangements. Mike's technical skill and songwriting capabilities have earned him collaborations with renowned musical figures such as Steve Vai and Steven Wilson, as well a multiple awards such as Guitarist Magazine's Young Guitarist of the Year and winner of Acoustic Player Magazine's Player of the Year. He has released three solo albums, as well as two duo albums with fellow composer and musician Rob Chapman and performed with the British rock band Don Broco. With a rapidly growing global fan base, Mike continues to evolve and develop as a musician and composer.
