Nick Mason is an English musician, best known as the drummer of the legendary rock band Pink Floyd. Mason has been the only Pink Floyd member to be featured on all their studio albums and has been performing with Pink Floyd since its very first show in 1965. As a solo artist, Mason has recorded the soundtrack of the 1978 film La Vallée, as well as several studio albums, including Fictitious Sports (1981) and Profiles (1985). His collaboration with Rick Fenn on Profiles was awarded a Grammy Nomination. Mason has also released the album Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets in 2018, a tribute to the early days of Pink Floyd. In 2013, Mason was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as a member of Pink Floyd.
