Petey Pablo is an American rapper and record producer from Greenville, North Carolina. He initially found fame with his 2002 debut single, “Raise Up,” which peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2004, Petey Pablo released his major-label debut diary of a sinner: 1st Entry on Jive Records, which was followed by his 2006 album Still Writing in My Diary: 2nd Entry. The charting single from that release was “Show Me the Money.” In 2008, Petey Pablo was featured on the US Top 10 hit, “Last Night,” with Diddy and Keyshia Cole. He returned to recording as a solo artist in 2010, releasing the album Real Talk. Petey Pablo has also worked as a songwriter, with credits on Lil Wayne and Usher’s albums as well as other artists.
