Pressing Strings are a dynamic acoustic trio from Washington D.C. specializing in a unique, modern take on classic roots, soul, blues, and folk music. Comprised of guitar, upright bass, percussion, and three part vocal harmonies, their accessible sound draws in a wide variety of music lovers. With two full length studio albums under their belt, they continue to tour nationally and have performed alongside some of the biggest folk, blues, and soul acts in the world. Pressing Strings recently released their latest EP ‘Where I Belong’ and have opened for acts at notable venues such as The Kennedy Center, The 9:30 Club, the Lincoln Theatre, and the Lyric Theater. They are currently promoting the EP and gearing up for a summer tour.
