Rachel Newton is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer from Scotland who has created her own unique blend of folk, classical, and contemporary music. She has also released a live album, To The Aire And The Rain, and contributes guest vocals, harp, and other instruments to many other groups. Rachel has toured around Europe and the US, including appearances at various festivals. She's won multiple awards for her compositions, including the prestigious BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Original Song. Her work has been compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Radiohead, and Nick Drake, and she is widely admired for her unique voice and virtuoso harp skills.
