About Roddy Woomble
Roddy Woomble is a singer-songwriter originally from Scotland but currently based in London, UK. He is best known as the frontman and lead vocalist for the band Idlewild and has been creating music for the past two decades. Originally released on the small record label, Electric Honey, Idlewild's debut album 'Hope is Important' was released in 1999 and propelled the band into the mainstream. Roddy Woomble has since released three solo albums 'My Secret is My Silence', 'The Impossible Song & other Songs' and 'Listen to Keep'. In recent years he has also undertaken acoustic tours around the UK and abroad and continues to collaborate with other artists.
