RP Boo is an influential American footwork and juke music producer from Chicago, Illinois, widely considered to be the originator and founder of the footwork genre. He was raised in the public housing projects of Chicago's South Side, and first began creating music in the late 1990s. He has collaborated with renowned producers such as DJ Rashad and DJ Manny, as well as pioneering acts like Dance Mania, Trax Records, Teklife and Ghettoteknitianz.

RP Boo has released numerous footwork albums, as well as DJing and producing live shows. He has engineered experimental new tracks, along with continuing pushing his classic sound, making him one of the top stone makers of the new generation of underground footwork music.
