About The James Hunter Six
The James Hunter Six is an English soul singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Colchester, England, who has been making great music since the release of his 1996 debut album ‘Believe What I Say’. He has been touring steadily since, becoming popular for fiery live performances.
Hunter’s music has the unmistakable sounds of classic British soul and Blues, and he is often referred to as the ‘British Van Morrison’. He has released five studio albums along with his debut: People Gonna Talk (2006), The Hard Way (2008), Minute by Minute (2011), Hold On! (2015) and Whatever it Takes (2018).
Hunter has toured consistently since his debut, over a span of two decades, with performances ranging from Europe to even as far as the US. He has also been featured in the studio with both Jack White and Van Morrison, who provided additional guitar and vocal work for his 2011 album, Minute by Minute
