The Shins tickets

The Shins are an indie rock band from Albuquerque, New Mexico, originally rising to prominence in the early 2000s. The band is comprised of singer-songwriter James Mercer, producer/multi-instrumentalist Richard Swift, keyboardist Yuuki Matthews, bassist Mark Watrous, and drummer Jon Sortland. Along with bands like Death Cab for Cutie and Modest Mouse, their first two albums, Oh, Inverted World and Chutes Too Narrow, kickstarted the indie rock revolution of the early 2000s. The Shins have released a total of 5 studio albums since 2001, notably Heartworms in 2017 which was met with critical appraisal. They also have multiple EPs and Soundtrack contributions, demonstrating their wide variety of influence in terms of songwriting. The Shins have remained a favorite within the indie rock sphere, and are highly regarded amongst fans for their distinct sound.
