About The Vains
The Vains are a rock band hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Founded in 2004 by brothers and songwriters Mikey and Johnny Engine, the band draws influence from classic Australian rockers, such as AC/DC and Rose Tatoo. The Vains have released two albums through their label Off The Hip Records, the 2010 garage-rock-infused 'Faded Millenium Dreams', and the 2011 more alternative-rock-bannered 'Stories of a Stranger'. In 2016, the group released their much-anticipated third album 'Black Light Explosion', showcasing raw stoner-rock influenced tunes. With nearly two decades of playing together, their loyal fanbase continues to swell each time they hit the stage.
