He released his debut album, Attention Deficit, in 2009, and his third album, The Gifted, topped the US Billboard album chart in 2013. Wale has also gained significant critical acclaim and collaborated with some of the most popular artists in the music industry, including Lady Gaga, Usher, Drake, Rick Ross, Asap Rocky, among others. He is also signed to Maybach Music Group, founded by rapper Rick Ross.
