William Beckman was born in St. Louis, Missouri and is a classically trained singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He composes, produces, and records his own music, mixing modern sounds of rock, pop, and electronica with the traditional teachings of his classical music roots. His writing explores a wide range of topics, from coming of age to loss and longing, all with a raw intensity and elegance. Beckman has released six studio albums; his latest album, “Fiction vs Singing” was recorded and completed in 2019. His music has been featured in movies and trailers and he has performed on stages around the US, Europe and Asia. Beckmann is also a sought-after film scorer and composer with music in a number of films. He continues to tour, write, and perform.
