Y&T (originally known as Yesterday & Today) is a classic American hard rock and heavy metal band from Oakland, California. Formed in 1974, the band has released over twenty-five albums to date. Y&T has experienced a lot of success in their long career, with hits like "Mean Streak," "Forever," and "I Believe in You" becoming staples of classic rock radio. The band has conquered the MTV world, performed in sold-out venues worldwide, and earned five gold and three platinum records as well as critical acclaim. After a brief break from 1998-2003, Y&T has been performing and recording continuously since 2003 and is still going strong.
