Boyzone Announces 2026 Reunion Tour Following Documentary Success
September 6, 2025
Irish boyband Boyzone has confirmed plans to reunite for a 2026 tour, marking their first major comeback since their farewell tour concluded in 2019. The announcement follows the overwhelming success of their recent documentary series, Boyzone: No Matter What, which aired earlier this year.
Ronan Keating, the band's lead vocalist, shared the news during an interview on BBC Radio 2's Scott Mills Breakfast Show. He stated, "The reaction was unbelievable, so we've obviously been talking about our story for the last 30 years, and we felt like that was kind of it, that maybe that was the end of the story. And well, we've all been chatting over the last few weeks, and I think 2026 might be a year for Boyzone to maybe try and do something." (irishtimes.com)
The band's official Instagram account further fueled excitement by posting a photo of the members with the caption, "The journey continues…" Fans have been eagerly commenting, expressing their anticipation for the upcoming tour. (limerickleader.ie)
Formed in 1993, Boyzone quickly rose to fame with hits like "Love Me for a Reason" and "No Matter What." The group initially disbanded in 2000 but reunited in 2007. Their last tour, Thank You & Goodnight, spanned from 2018 to 2019, after which they stepped away from the spotlight.
The success of the Boyzone: No Matter What documentary, which delved into the band's journey and personal stories, has reignited interest in the group. Keating noted that even those who weren't fans previously reached out, saying, "I had no idea." (irishtimes.com)
While specific dates and venues for the 2026 tour have yet to be announced, the band has encouraged fans to stay tuned for further updates. This reunion promises to be a nostalgic event for longtime supporters and a chance for new audiences to experience Boyzone's enduring appeal.
