NFL (N.F.L., short for No Friends Left) is a hip-hop collective from San Francisco featuring MCs Young Gully and Burger. The group originated in 2004 with the release of their debut single, “Worldwide.” They have since released several EP’s and two full-length albums. NFL’s music is noted for its lyrical content, which combines elements of storytelling with street savvy bars. The group has earned respect from fans and critics alike, with their second album, Fresh Out, being named one of the top 50 hip-hop albums of 2011 by XXL Magazine. NFL continues to have a strong presence in the Bay Area rap scene and has collaborated with numerous other Bay Area artists. They have also performed at the annual Paid Dues Festival. They are currently in the studio working on their third full-length album, with plans for a 2020 release.
