About Lee Mack
Lee Mack is a British actor, comedian, and writer who has been active in the entertainment industry since the late 90s. He is well known for his BBC One situation comedy, Not Going Out, which held the Guinness World Record for the longest running sitcom for a while. He also tours with his stand-up comedy act, performing all over the world. He has appeared on many radio and television panel shows, and in 2009 won the British Comedy Award for Best Male Television Comic.
Lee Mack has written several non-fiction books, including ‘Mack The Life’ about his life and career, as well as ‘Loud & vividly: Adventures in stand-up comedy’ about his tour experiences. He also played a significant role in the hit BBC One show ‘Would I Lie To You?’ and has written and contributed to sketches for shows such as The Sketch Show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and Big Fat Quiz of
