The Producers tickets

The Producers are an American music group formed in Los Angeles in 1979, consisting of singer-songwriter/producer Mike Piccirillo, bassist Steve bass, and drummer Ash Gabrel. The trio released three albums between 1981 and 1983, each one described as a blend of new wave and power pop. The Producers' initial success came with 1981's Cattin' which contained the song "'She Sheila" which hit number #1 on the college radio charts. They soon followed up with the hit single "What I Like" from the album No Withdrawal in 1982. In 1983 the band released their third album, Uproar, which gave them moderate success with the singles "Ground Shakin' " and "Take It". The Producers disbanded in 1985, but reunited in 2012 to produce the album Anyway We Can, accompanied by a successful tour.
