Steve Martin is a Grammy-winning American comedian, actor, director, writer, author, and musician. He began his career as a stand-up comic in the late 1960s. After finding quick success, Martin established himself as a master storyteller whose performances often featured physical comedy. He starred in dozens of hit movies, including The Jerk, Parenthood, Roxanne, Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid, and even the classic Disney flick, The Three Amigos. Martin also wrote for Saturday Night Live, and he is the author of several books. He has released several albums as a talented banjo player and singer. In 2013, he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Comedy Awards.
