Arj Barker is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He started his career in San Francisco in 1990, creating shows regularly at several comedy theatres. His comedic style is based on observational humor, and his material often deals with elements of romance, foreign cultures, and current events. In 2004, he won the Best International Comic Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has starred in a number of TV shows and films, including Flight of the Conchords, Bob’s Burgers, and Pleasantville. He has taken his comedy on tour, across the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, and Asia. Barker is currently releasing comedy specials on streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime.
