Steve Hughes is an Australian stand-up comedian and former musician who started his career in the late 1980s. He achieved his initial fame with musical comedy group the Doug Anthony Allstars before embarking on a solo career. Steve's solo performances explore topics such as politics, religion and social issues, often inspiring audiences to think differently about certain topics. Throughout his professional career he has released five solo comedic albums, performed various international tours, and appeared on a variety of TV shows such as The Panel and Rove Live. He continues to tour around the world performing at a number of comedy festivals such as Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
