Bruce Campbell is an American actor, director, producer, and writer. He is best known for his starring role as Ash Williams in the horror comedy franchise Evil Dead and its television adaptation Ash vs. Evil Dead. He also starred in the cult classic comedy films Army of Darkness, Bubba Ho-Tep, and has had recurring roles in the TV shows Burn Notice and Jack of All Trades. In addition, he has written and directed the horror films My Name Is Bruce and Man With the Screaming Brain. Campbell has also co-produced various films, including the horror comedy film House II: The Second Story. His unique voice can also be heard in various TV and radio commercials, and he is the author of several books, including his autobiography, If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor.
