1991 (UK) is a British artist originally from Lancaster, UK. He has been releasing music since 2015 and quickly rose to prominence as one of the most talented artists emerging out of the UK's grime, hip-hop and electronic music scenes. 1991’s sound is an amalgamation of the aforementioned genres and is most often aligned with British hip hop. His most well known tracks are 'Nine Clouds' and 'Fading', which became popular anthems within the grime and hip-hop scenes. To date, 1991 has released four studio albums, with the most recent, Deep Space Hive, released in late 2020. He has earned critical praise for his dynamic production and lyricism, and is quickly gaining attention on both sides of the Atlantic.
