The Avett Brothers are an American folk-rock band from Concord, North Carolina. The band consists of two brothers, Seth and Scott Avett, as well as Bob Crawford and Joe Kwon. Since their formation in 2000, they have released nine studio albums and multiple EP's, with their most recent release being ‘The Carpenter’ in 2012. Their unique, alternative sound combines country, bluegrass, punk, pop, and rock elements. The Avett Brothers have achieved critical acclaim and widespread success, with their songs appearing on television and feature films. In addition to headlining numerous festivals, the band has performed at the Grammys and on the Late Show With David Letterman. The band has accumulated awards such as a Grammy award in 2020 and received five nominations during the 2021 awards.
