Los Amigos Invisibles are a Venezuelan musical group that mix Latin salsa and house music with hints of funk, jazz, and disco. The group was formed in Venezuela in the mid 1990's and has since grown to become one of the most critically acclaimed Latin bands in the world. Their genre-defying sound is described as 'electrolatino' and consists of multiple musical styles. The band released their debut album, A Typical and Autoctonal Venezuelan Dance Band, in 1997. In 2000 they released their breakthrough album, Arepa 3000: A Venezuelan Journey into Space. They have since released seven more records and EPs, as well as a rarities compilation.
