About Raul Malo

Raul Malo is a Cuban-American singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the vocalist and frontman of The Mavericks. Active since 1989, Malo has achieved success in both pop and country, having released over a dozen albums throughout his career. He has garnered numerous awards, such as three Grammy Awards, two CMA Awards, and two ACM Awards. Malo has also released four solo albums since 2003, his highest-charting being 2017's "Lucky One," which peaked at number 39 on the US Billboard Country Albums chart. His most popular singles include "All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down," "Dance the Night Away," and "Here Comes the Rain," among others. Malo is known for his distinct voice, influenced by his Latin American roots, and signature Spanish-infused country-rock sound.
