About Ice Cube
Ice Cube is a hip-hop living legend that helped gangsta rap enter the mainstream. He was part of N.W.A., which promoted a street message once Stright Out Of Compton hit the market in 1988. They delivered their message of struggle during hard times in Los Angeles and, along with Eazy E and Dr. Dre, have pushed lyrical limits with tracks like "Fuck The Police."
The multi-platinum rated MC, director and actor is no stranger to success. After departing from the group, Ice Cube was free and would go on to produce memorable, explicit, and boundary bending records. His dedication to the rap culture prompted him towards Hollywood, where he produced, directed, and starred in hood movies such as "Friday." Always focusing on social and cultural conflicts, Ice Cube is a lyrical activist for a good cause. While his passions may seem mainstream and unmeaningful, his message hit his mark!
