DJ Logic is an American turntablist and music producer who has been releasing solo albums since 1997. He is best known for combining jazz, hip-hop and electronica, and having collaborated with some of the most prominent names in the music industry, including Talib Kweli, Vernon Reid, Mos Def, and Kool Keith. He spent the majority of his career fusing acoustic instrumentation with turntablism. In 2013 he founded the label Logistic Records, which featured a curated lineup of jazz and hip-hop artists. Over the years DJ Logic has continuously reinvented himself and his sound, exploring an impressive range of musical styles. He has performed at clubs and festivals around the globe, including SXSW, the Montreal Jazz Festival, and Glastonbury. Through his musical experimentation and dedication to his craft, DJ Logic has become an icon of hip-hop and electronica.
