Karate tickets

Karate is an indie rock band formed in 1995 in New England. The band consists of Geoff Farina, Gavin McCarthy and Jeff Goddard. Their style of music is often described as post-rock with a mix of alt-rock, Krautrock and noise pop. Their first album Unsolved was released in 1997 followed by In Place of Real Conversation in 2002. Karate toured extensively in North America during the late 1990s, while their follow-up record The Elephant's Graveyard found success in Europe. Over the years, the band has released 6 studio albums and toured around the world, all while maintaining a cult-like following. Karate’s sound has changed considerably over their 25 years together, evolving through an eclectic mix of styles, but has always been a fascinating listen.
