La Dispute is an American post-hardcore band based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Formed in 2004, the group consists of Jordan Dreyer (vocals, guitar), Chad Sterenberg (guitar, keyboards), Adam Vass (bass, guitar, vocals) and Brad Vandenberge (drums). With a unique blend of melodic screaming, spoken-word delivery, and hazy post-hardcore, La Dispute quickly garnered attention.

The band has released four albums since 2008: Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair, Wildlife, Rooms of the House, and Panorama. The albums demonstrate the group's continual growth, exploring themes of personal relationships, love, mental and physical health, human connection, and more.

La Dispute has toured extensively, playing large-scale punk festivals and headlining countless shows. They have toured with such acts as The Fall of Troy, Thrice,
