About Regina Spektor
Regina Spektor is an American singer-songwriter and pianist from New York City. Having written her first song at the age of seven, she began playing in clubs in her local area when she was just sixteen years old. In 2001, Spektor independently released her debut album, 11:11, which showcased her signature style of experimental, antifolk. Following this release, Spektor signed with Sire Records and released several studio albums, including Begin to Hope (2006) and Far (2009). Her music gained popularity and she grew to become an international success, playing sold-out shows across the world. Spektor has collaborated with artists such as Sleigh Bells and The Strokes, won awards, and been featured in films and television series. Her most recent album, Remember Us To Life, was released in 2016.
