Blind Pilot is an American indi-folk group based in Portland, Oregon. The group is comprised of multi-instrumentalists Israel Nebeker (lead vocals, guitar) and Ryan Dobrowski (drums, backup vocals). Since their full-length debut in 2008 with 3 Rounds and a Sound, Blind Pilot has released three additional studio albums, all of which received critical acclaim. These albums are We Are the Tide (2011), And Then Like Lions (2016), and See You Tomorrow (2019). Blind Pilot often records with a full band, which includes Kati Claborn (vocals, violin, guitar), Luke Ydstie (bass, vocals), Ian Krist (keys, guitar, vocals), and Dave Jorgensen (percussion). Their sound is unique, blending together their folky roots with psychedelic flourishes. Blind Pilot is recognized for their expansive lyrics and genre bending experimentation.
