Adrianne Lenker is an indie folk singer-songwriter from Minnesota. Lenker is best known as the frontwoman of the American musical duo Big Thief, which she co-founded with guitarist Buck Meek in 2014. She is also a solo artist, having released two acclaimed albums under her own name, 2017's 'Unreflected and 2020's 'Songs', with both albums receiving widespread critical acclaim. As a songwriter, Lenker has been noted for her "emotive and detailed songcraft", with Rolling Stone noting that her songs offer ""unflinching observations on the human condition, expressed in a husky, vulnerable voice." Lenker has played shows throughout the U.S. and Europe, and her music has been featured in television shows such as Grey's Anatomy and the BBC drama Collateral.
