Strand of Oaks is an indie-rock/folk project led by singer-songwriter Tim Showalter. Showalter grew up in Ohio before relocating to Philadelphia and has released six studio albums with the most recent being 2020's 'Weird Era Cont.' He has been critically acclaimed by publications such as Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and The New York Times. Showalter is known for his heartfelt, anthemic songwriting which is heavily influenced by classic rock and which often generates positive energy in the music. He has toured extensively throughout the US and Europe, building an ever growing and dedicated international fan-base.
