Sam Smith is a Grammy Award-winning British singer-songwriter whose breakthrough came with his 2014 debut album, In the Lonely Hour. That album featured the hit singles “Stay with Me” and “I’m Not the Only One” and spawned multiple worldwide deluxe editions. In 2017, Smith's sophomore album The Thrill of It All was both a chart and critical success with all singles charting in the US, Australia, UK and Japan, as well as winning two Brits Awards. Smith has also won four Grammy Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award and a Golden Globe Award. Most recently, Smith has been an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, lending his voice to various projects and advocating for genderless award categories. He most recently released his third album, To Die For, in 2020 which saw critical success.
